Disgraceful service to end users. The company's service is developer-focused and this is where their service ends. My property was built by a developer with external doors and windows installed by Salisbury Glass. Upon installation, the balcony door was mislabelled as tilted although it doesn't tilt and no O&M manual was provided to the final user. Within four years of installation, a hinge carrying the door snapped and the resulting damage to the door frame was assessed by Salisbury Glass as abuse of the door by the user (!). Salisbury Glass take no responsibility for having installed a hinge that's now discontinued (third-party engineer has since assessed it as unsuitable for carrying heavy doors such mine), neither for mislabelling the door or for not providing O&M instructions to final users in the first place.

The poor quality of their product and service is evidenced by their visits to other apartments in my block, which Salisbury Glass say is normal practice and they charge for it (at further profit to them) as the warranty they provide is only 2-years long. Very disappointed by this short-sighted developer-centred approach that completely disregards final users.

Rang this company and arranged a visit for a new extension/conservatory, appointment was easy to make and Joshua arrived on time on the Wednesday and was friendly and professional. Stated that we'd have the quote by Friday, if not then definitely on Monday. Friday, Monday and that whole week can and went, no quote. emailed on the Thursday, no response. On the following Monday I called and spoke to Joshua who apologised and assured me that the quote would be with me that afternoon as he'd been off ill.

This was now over two weeks ago, nothing. not impressed at all and it demonstrates to me that the company don't care about their customers and I wouldn't recommend them as I'd fear that the quality of their work would show the same lack of care. Disappointing to say the least, not a way I'd run a business!
