Conservatory Roofs
Our market-leading Supalite tiled conservatory roofs provide year-round comfort with thermal efficiency up to 0.15 W/mK. Designed to replace outdated polycarbonate roofs or fit new extensions, these lightweight systems add property value while resisting weather damage. Custom options include colour-matched tiles, integrated lighting, and smart insulation. Perfect for transforming underused spaces into functional living areas across South Wales.
uPVC Windows
A-rated uPVC windows combine security and energy efficiency with multi-point locking systems and double/triple glazing. Available in casement, sliding sash, and Residence 9 styles, our windows reduce condensation and noise pollution. Backed by a 10-year warranty, installations meet FENSA standards for thermal performance and weather resistance in both modern and heritage properties.
Composite Doors
Secure composite doors feature reinforced frames, anti-snap cylinder locks, and durable weatherproof finishes. Choose from contemporary aluminium-clad designs or traditional timber-effect options with custom hardware. Each installation includes precise measurements and professional fitting to ensure optimal security and thermal efficiency for front or rear entrances.
Home Extensions
From Edwardian orangeries to modern glass verandas, our extensions maximise natural light while maintaining temperature control. Using thermally broken aluminium and low-iron glass, these structures create seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. All projects include architectural design support and planning permission guidance where required.
Roofline Repairs
Durable uPVC roofline systems prevent water ingress with seamless guttering, ventilation-equipped soffits, and impact-resistant fascias. Our teams replace degraded timber components with low-maintenance alternatives that enhance eaves aesthetics while extending roof longevity across residential properties.

We searched for types of Conservatory replacement roofs, decided on SupaLite, then looked for suppliers in South Wales. The consultation with A-Rated was very good; not over selling and keeping to the technical aspects and performance of the product. Joe was very enthusiastic without being a pushy, ready with information and confirmed everything on email. Very happy with the finish, and feel that we had value for money. The conservatory has transformed this area of the house, in terms of always warm and useable. Everyone who has seen the conservatory has been wowed, and I would strongly recommended A-Rated.

A-Rated did an excellent job of our conservatory extension in Pontyclun, with which we are really satisfied. Great team and skills and top quality product and finish - the groundwork especially was a tour de force! They helped us choose the right options, get best value for money and to solve all the problems that came up on our 1930s former council property. The only downside was the time the project took - but this was understandable during 2021, such an unpredictable year for everyone. Diolch Umberto, Bruce & co., and Nadolig Llawen to you all!

Called them because I would like to change a door and windows, Brandon told me that they can come out the next day to see and estimate it but told me He will call me back later, waited no call happened, called them again they told me they cant come out, they said they will give me a quote, did not happen, called them yet again they said they will send an email with the estimation yet again did not happen. Looks like they don't want to have customer make an order from them, disappointing customer service without providing anything.

An excellent company to deal with. We have recently had an extension built and we cannot fault anything from start to finish. Everyone involved with the process, from the office team to the tradesmen on site at various stages of the build, were absolutely fab. Would highly recommend to anyone. Absolutely chuffed with the end result! Thank you!

Really excellent local company who have just built us an extension. Extremely high quality finish and all the tradespeople that did the job were about quality rather than rushing the job. They have been very helpful after sales too, extremely professional and responsive. They were not the cheapest firm but cut no corners either so I thought were very good value overall. The finished extension is really fantastic and I would not hesitate to use them again.

An excellent company to deal with. They are not kidding when they say they can remove and replace the roof within days. Watching the transformation happen so quickly was very impressive. It makes a massive difference to the temperature of the room, cooler in summer and warmer in winter. For us this means our old conservatory feels like and extension and gets used all year round. I recommend having skylights too, you will hardly notice a solid roof replacement as long as you have 1 or 2 letting in light.
Also make sure to have fitted blinds to reduce light in the summer months. For my final point, we had a few snags that needed tweaking some weeks later. Once I'd phoned the office these were dealt with swiftly and am pleased with the results.

We had an extension last year and I have to say its the best thing we ever did. Andrew dealt with everything early on giving us help and advice as we weren't sure what we wanted. Then came all the tradesmen to do the work, all nice chaps who you felt you could trust. We had 1 small issue which was down to the weather however this was rectified immediately with no fuss and no damage was done to the extension.
We spend all our time in the extension and the comments we have had are unbelievable and makes us very proud of what has been done. At the same time we had a door fitted into our garage again no fuss but has made a massive difference. The value of our house has increased dramatically and if anyone reads this and needs or wants an extension then ARated will do a superb job.

I have had my conservatory roof and window installation for a year now so feel able to give a long term view. Information and advice pre order was very good. Technical detail much better than the competition. Good value for money (not the cheapest!) Installation on time and to a high standard. Minor problems quickly dealt with. Weatherproofed within 1 day. We now have a extra room with garden view, usable all year round. Energy consumption is greatly improved and temperatures are liveable in at all times. A real value for money job with great service and installation
